Starting out as a Purchasing Agent for a construction company, Mary Jones began her career in property management. The construction company acquired a run down property that had a lot of vagrants living in it. The company asked her to manage it, and with in three months, she improved the property value, and rented out the units to responsible tenants. She incorporated her business in September of 1971, and her business has been going strong since.

When asked what the biggest, concern to the company was, she stated that the lack of communication between the Association, Home Owners and a management company is a top priority to the company. For a management company to do the job properly; and enforce Association rules, it is imperative to have good communication.

Integrity was another highly regarded issue. The associations entrust the management companies with a lot of responsibility. It is impossible for a company to survive if the Associations they 'manage do not trust them.

Mary Jones prides herself on finding hard working dedicated employees who care to do their job to the best of their abilities. She demands accuracy from her employees and has purchased high tech computer programs, to help them maintain accurate records. All accounting has several checks and balances to ensure that there are no errors. The company is very organized; we even have individual files on every homeowner for eveiy property we manage that contain all the homeowner correspondence in it.

The company is also very good with delinquency follow up. Not only does the company monitor delinquent accounts, there are several procedures that are followed in handling them. When an account becomes delinquent, the homeowner is sent a statement that reflects delinquency. If the homeowner does not bring their account current with in a short period of time, it is sent to the attorney to be handled accordingly.

Mary Jones says, "I feel it is extremely important that someone at our company is always accessible, including non-business hours and on holidays. Emergencies don't wait for business hours to occur." To ensure the company is always on it's "toes", Mary Jones has purchased a new phone system that will contact the property manager on call, immediately after the home owner/Board Member leaves a message in the emergency mailbox.

Mary states confidently, "I feel our company stands out among the rest, because we strive on getting things done expediently. We are trustworthy and dedicated to providing the best management services around. Nothing is detained or held in our office more than a day. If we dissolve our relationship with an Association, we provide a "Transition Report" (something no other management company has ever provided), notify all the homeowners of the transition, as well as the banks, and allow the new management company access to all of the Association's information at the time of turn over. This is something no other management company offers.
